Emily Beyer
I am a poet living and working in Seattle, Washington. I hold an MFA in Poetry from the University of Iowa and a BA in English from the University of Washington. Currently, I am seeking a publisher for my first book Cavalcade, while starting my next book Meadmen and writing verse for a silent experimental film.
Along with writing poetry, I have taught poetry and writing classes to adults and children for more than nine years. Since 2008, I have worked as the academic advisor for the marine biology minor at the University of Washington.
